"Şakir Paşa Ailesi" Set Completely Destroyed in Fire

A devastating fire has completely destroyed the set of the popular Turkish TV series "Şakir Paşa Ailesi". The blaze erupted on Sunday night at the series' film studio located on Namık Kemal Street in Çavuşoğlu Mahallesi, Kartal. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it caused significant panic in the surrounding area and forced the closure of the street.

Fatih Aksoy, the producer of the series, stated that the set was cleared around 6:30 PM on the day of the incident. "The Şakir Paşa mansion has been reduced to ashes," he said. "The fire started around 1:30 AM while the studio was empty. We were notified around 2:30 AM. When we arrived, the set was completely burned down. The cause is currently unknown. The fire department is investigating, and the report will determine the cause. We have an episode airing this week, but the next episode is now at risk."

Early in the morning, both teams working on the series were informed that filming had been halted.

Last week, the descendants of Şakir Paşa issued a statement claiming that the series was being produced without their permission. Additionally, a descendant of the family had filed a lawsuit to stop the broadcast, but the request was denied. The production company has also released a statement regarding the fire.
