"Şakir Paşa Ailesi" Set Completely Destroyed in Fire
A devastating fire has completely destroyed the set of the popular Turkish TV series "Şakir Paşa Ailesi".
Fatih Aksoy, the producer of the series, stated that the set was cleared around 6:30 PM on the day of the incident. "The Şakir Paşa mansion has been reduced to ashes," he said. "The fire started around 1:30 AM while the studio was empty.
Early in the morning, both teams working on the series were informed that filming had been halted.
Last week, the descendants of Şakir Paşa issued a statement claiming that the series was being produced without their permission. Additionally, a descendant of the family had filed a lawsuit to stop the broadcast, but the request was denied. The production company has also released a statement regarding the fire.
